- Our history should affect us just as it did those who lived through it
- The lessons of our Christian forefathers
- The lessons of our Baptist forefathers
- The lessons of or Fundamentalist forefathers
- A MEMORIAL LEFT TO THE FUTURE GENERATIONS (vv. 4-8)
- Do not hide your heritage (v. 4)
- Do not hide your failures (vv. 7-8)
- Make the LORD well known (vv. 4-5)
- Instill a desire for multi-generational faithfulness (v. 6)
